Kinship Circles

The future we long for is something we practice together.

Small communities where people deepen their relationships—with one another, with the Earth, and with the future they want to help create.

We Can't Do This Alone

We are living through a time of profound change. Climate disruption. Isolation. Polarization. Economic uncertainty. Communities under increasing pressure.

It can be easy to feel overwhelmed or to feel like we have to respond alone. But resilience begins in relationship: knowing who we can call on, sharing what we have, caring for one another, and showing up when our communities need us.

What becomes possible when we take action together?

More Than a Gathering

A powerful experience can change how we see the world. But lasting transformation is difficult to sustain alone. Kinship Circles offer a supportive community where people can translate the insights and commitments that emerge from a Pachamama Alliance program, training, event, or journey into daily practices, new ways of being, and meaningful collective action.

The focus of each Kinship Circle will reflect its people, place, culture, and what matters most to them. A Circle can begin anywhere people feel called to come together.

From Relationship to Action

Every Circle grows from its people, place, and purpose. Kinship is the understanding that we belong to a larger web of life. It means cultivating our relationships with care, reciprocity, and responsibility. There's no single model: a Circle might grow out of a Pachamama Alliance experience, or begin with a few neighbors, friends, or colleagues who want to build something together.

A Circle doesn't have to do everything. Start where you are with the question: What do our relationships ask of us?

Kinship with Each Other

Cultivate belonging and mutual care.

Share meals and stories. Practice deep listening. Grieve and celebrate together. Create mutual aid. Support one another through life's challenges. Navigate differences and conflicts with care.

Kinship with the Earth

Deepen your relationship with the living Earth.

Tend to your local ecosystem. Listen to the Earth. Grow food. Protect your watershed. Create seasonal rituals. Support Indigenous-led stewardship.

Kinship with the Future

Bring forth regenerative cultures and systems.

Imagine new possibilities. Take local climate action. Protect democracy. Make inspiring art. Advocate for change. Join movements transforming our communities and systems.

Ready to Gather Your People?

Pachamama Alliance is creating resources, practices, training, and support to help Kinship Circles take root and grow, and we want you to be a part of it.

You don’t need to have participated in a Pachamama Alliance program. You don’t need to know exactly what your Circle will become. You just need a willingness to begin.
